Mom and Dad
Day 56
Puppy evaluations have been completed. See the individual puppy pages for pictures and the evaluation comments.
When they're not playing the puppies love to get inside and sleep under the puppy fort (the step stool that we put in place so Beth could get in and out of the pen).
Day 36
Everyone's getting lively! The three ruby girls are having particularly fun time in this video.
Day 30
The puppies are starting to run around in their pen now and play with lots of toys. We took a few more posed shots today and hope to get more video on the weekend. The puppies are also eating their kibble for 3 meals a day. It's hard to decide on a good puppy food with all the recalls and issues that pet food manufacturers have had, but we decided on Solid Gold Hundchen Flocken and so far they are doing well.
Granger, on the right, is being a good boy and looking at the camera. Minx, on the left, is quite suspicious of the whole exercise.
Minx considers a beautiful flower. She really likes to chew on her toys, especially the crinkly leaves on the flower.
Two of the ruby sisters hanging out together: red on the left and green on the right. They are the most active in playing with each other right now.
Red enjoys a spot of gardening. Red is still the biggest of all the puppies.
White could take that flower if she wanted to. Right now she is the most playful of all the puppies. She likes to rush over to greet "the humans" when we get close to the puppy pen.
Day 25
Minx discovers the world of non-mom cuisine. She's eating, or should I say putting her whole face in 2nd stage puppy formula with rice.
Day 21
Mister and Miss Black and Tan finding their feet. Miss even takes a swipe at Mister when he gets in her face.
Day 20
White having a yawn in the puppy pile.
Day 15
White is the last to get her eyes fully open.
Sleepy-eyed girls but still looking at what's going on.
Red is the largest puppy on the right.
Day 13
Wish I could remember whether this is green or red ...
Day 7
Beth smells her beautiful bouquet from Denzil.
Miss Green snoozing.
Miss Green head shot.
Miss Red head shot.
Red, Green, and Black and Tan girls.
White having a snooze.
Black and tan male and White the ruby girl.
Day 4
Day 2
Day 1
After keeping us waiting all weekend, Beth delivered her 5 puppies around 9 am on May 5. First dog to arrive was a black and tan male. I don't think there was any accident that he arrived first as he's been a great eater so far. He was followed by 3 lovely ruby girls and then our last puppy was a little black and tan girl. Mom and puppies are doing great so far.
